The Trustees would ask that you read the “Advice on Applying” before completing the online application form and submission instructions. We will no longer accept postal or email applications.
The Trustees review applications quarterly and hope to respond as promptly as their calendar of Trust meetings permits.
If you have previously submitted an application you are asked not to apply again within a two-year period (unless there are very exceptional circumstances).
The Trustees in particular favour applicants from West Essex, Northern Hertfordshire and any part of Cambridgeshire and especially those that benefit rural or agricultural communities.
If the administrative demands of the application process are too great for any very small organisations, please email us to discuss. info@franklitchfieldtrust.co.uk

The Trust does not fund:
- Any commercial venture
- Individual education costs – eg university fees
- Religious organisations unless the application relates specifically to a community project
We use an online application form which enables applicants to apply and attach supporting documents online, without the need to post anything to the Trust. The link to the online form is provided below.
If you are a very small organisation and find the online application too demanding, please contact us by email to discuss the application.
Applicants need to be aware that with the limited funds available, the Trustees have to be highly selective and are unable to assist all organisations that apply. The Trustees will not provide any reasoning behind their decisions.
